Built with your feedback to support staff growth, accountability, and organizational success.
We’re pleased to share Mississippi State University’s updated Performance Management System— a campus-wide initiative designed to make goals clearer, feedback timelier, and development more meaningful.
Built Through Collaboration
At the request of Executive Vice President & Provost, Dr. David Shaw, a Staff Performance Evaluation Task Force—representing multiple divisions—reviewed current practices, benchmarked national standards, and gathered extensive feedback, including a campus-wide survey with 1,200+ responses.
Your input was clear: staff want clarity, timely feedback, stronger goal alignment, and meaningful opportunities for development. These insights directly shaped the updated system.
