Development sessions are also offered by ITS, the MSU Libraries, and
the Division of Academic Outreach and Continuing Education.


New Employee Orientation

Human Resources Management schedules new employees for an orientation session that includes:

  • Introduction to Mississippi State University

  • Overview of employee services, benefits, and key policies

  • Overview of services offered by Information Technology Services, including Telecommunications 

  • Procedure for obtaining parking decals, ID badges

  • Appointment with benefits counselor for completion of benefits paperwork

Date: Weekly. Please allow three hours for this session, plus a follow-up appointment with a benefits counselor.

Location: Department of Human Resources Management, 150 McArthur Hall.
