COMPENSATION GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES

Introduction

Mississippi State University's compensation package consists of both salary and benefits. Benefits have a monetary value and both the University and employee should consider this value in reviewing compensation. The guidelines and procedures describe how a staff employee's starting salary is determined and the basis for any subsequent salary changes.
